“I knew from an early age that I’m not the type of person able to sit at a desk all day. I enjoy moving around, interacting with people and being challenged. In school, I always excelled at biology. The intricate dance between cells and organs was a source of constant fascination. For these reasons, I decided to pursue medical school after receiving my B.A. in Biology from Boston University. Surgery has given me the opportunity to have the type of career I want, while also doing what I love. Most importantly, it allows me to make a major difference in my patients’ lives.”
